About Dr. Escobar

Julian Escobar, MD, specializes in fertility and assisted reproductive technologies at Conceive Fertility Center in Irving, Texas. He is certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Escobar earned his undergraduate degree in genetics with high honors from the University of Georgia in Athens. Before going on to medical school, he was awarded research fellowships with the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and Harvard Medical School in Boston.

He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine for his medical degree and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Northwestern University in Chicago. After residency, he furthered his education with a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Escobar is passionate about helping people build their families. He combines knowledge about the latest in reproductive assistance with compassionate care for individuals and couples. He takes pride in getting to know every patient on a personal level because he understands growing a family is a very personal process.

As an award-winning doctor, Dr. Escobar earned Texas Monthly Magazine’s Super Doctors and Rising Star Award since 2012, and D Magazine Top Doc awards since 2013. 

Continuing education and excellence in research are important to Dr. Escobar. He’s conducted research in various areas, including assisted reproductive technologies, decreased ovarian reserve, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and reproductive surgical techniques. He is particularly interested in minimally invasive surgery and reproductive microsurgical techniques for tubal ligation reversal and outpatient correction of abnormalities in the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. 

An award-winning doctor, Dr. Escobar earned Texas Monthly Magazine’s Rising Star Award and D Magazine Top Doc awards. 

Dr. Escobar is a father of twins, Paloma and Valentino. He was able to build his family thanks to IVF, donor egg and surrogacy.  This has given him the experience and perspective of the patient, which ultimately has allowed him to uniquely connect professionally and personally to his patients. In his spare time, Dr. Escobar enjoys spending time with his  family, traveling, and photography. He has lived in several Latin American countries throughout his life making him fluent in Spanish.
